In my opinion Il Solengo is one of the most impressive films. I remember that I was very impressed when I saw it for the first time... These days, new movies that come to cinema's, does not have 'something' that is hidden in this movie. It's a very innovative movie. The documentary follows a group of elders as they gather in a hunting lodge and recalls the life of Mario “ de’ Marcella”, who was called by hunters "Il Solengo" because that's how they call the lone boar that is cut off from the rest of the pack.
